WATCH: Soldier surprises household throughout Navy Appreciation Day at Clemson


Veterans Day weekend simply bought an entire lot sweeter for one family in Clemson.

Saturday’s sport between Louisville and No. 10 Clemson was the Tigers’ Navy Appreciation Day. 

After the primary quarter, a navy household was invited onto the sphere for what they thought was a celebration.

But it surely was way more than that.

Capt. Nathaniel Horton shocked his household on the sport, returning residence from a deployment within the Center East.

The household began to search for Capt. Horton when the public-address announcer revealed Horton was on the stadium.

Upon seeing him, his kids excitedly ran to their father and had a tricky time letting go as the group gave a loud standing ovation.

The Tigers are sporting their purple uniforms on Saturday to honor those that have served.

On Friday, the Tigers devoted a seat of their stadium to honor prisoners of war

Earlier than the sport, Clemson had a flyover throughout the nationwide anthem.
