Black highschool basketball participant allegedly taunted with monkey noises throughout free throw


An investigation has begun in Texas after a spectator at a highschool women’ basketball recreation made what seemed like monkey noises towards a Black participant capturing free throws on Friday.

East Central High School senior Asia Prudhomme was capturing a free throw towards Marble Falls Excessive College in a event they hosted over the weekend when the noises could possibly be heard from the stands.

The noises went on throughout her pre-shot routine up till she made the shot.
